Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

Role Description:
The Maintenance Planner is directly responsible to the Plant Manager for supporting the Santa Barbara plant by performing the duties outlined below in order to assist in meeting plant goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintenance Planning / CMMS
Schedules maintenance programs / tasks to minimize impact of production.
Analysis of data in the CMMS system to improve schedules and workloads.
Scope the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct relevant repairs, preventive and predictive activities on the plant and equipment.
Evaluate the need for replacement parts and places orders.
Reconcile completed CMMS work order activities.
Hours completed, notes, service condition, follow-up actions, costing of parts/materials/labor hours.
Work with the Plant Manager to plan and schedule for Maintenance team.
Possess and maintain a thorough knowledge of all equipment operations, maintenance procedures, and operating standards relating to the facility.
Assist the maintenance with maintenance tasks as needed.
Ensure QHSE risks related to assigned CMMS work activities and projects are identified and managed to be as low as reasonably practicable.
Develop and maintain JHAs and risk assessments for qualifying CMMS project/work activities.
Document work instructions for various departments as needed.
Upload/maintain relevant procedures within IDE QHSE WorkHub Portal.
Update/maintain CMMS work activity steps to coincide with applicable procedures and sub-procedures (i.e., Lock-out Tag-out, LOTO)
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree preferred
6 years of experience utilizing a CMMS system
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
Successfully pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen

Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and over 51lbs with assistance
Ability to sit, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, balance, push/pull, and walk for long periods of time
Finger dexterity to work keyboard or operate tools, grasp tools and carry objects
Ability to see in the normal range of vision with or without correction sufficient to read computer screens, documents, dials, gauges, meter-reading equipment, and operate motor vehicles and equipment
Hear in the normal audio with or without correction

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
