Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Englewood, CO

Job Description Master&#39;s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a smaller northern suburb district near Denver, Colorado. This role supports pre-kindergarten through 8th-grade students with mild to moderate speech and language needs at Explore Academy, servicing a caseload of approximately 40 students, including 10 pre-kindergarteners. The district is welcoming to both new graduates and experienced professionals and offers supervision for Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates.Key Responsibilities:Conduct speech and language evaluations.Maintain detailed service notes and documentation.Provide direct speech therapy minutes to students.Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication goals.Qualifications and Experience:Current Certification of Approved Credential (CDE) from the Colorado Department of Education (or progress update on certification process is required).Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.Experience working within a school setting is highly desirable.Candidates in the Clinical Fellowship year are encouraged to apply; supervision is provided on-site.The district does not accept Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) or nurse contractors.This is a contract role with no VOCO or hybrid scheduling available.Location & Worksite:Explore Academy, 10310 York St., Thornton, CO 80229, serving pre-K through 8th grade students.Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week.Application Process:A two-step interview process is conducted: a preliminary screening via Teams with the Director of Integrated Services followed by a panel interview (ideally in person, but virtual interviews may be accommodated).Interview prescreens are primarily scheduled on Mondays and Fridays.Candidates relocating from out of state should communicate their relocation status with their application.This opportunity offers a supportive environment with a collaborative team and a meaningful caseload.
