Associate Attorney | Bankruptcy, Business Restructuring & Commercial Matters | IowaI'm partnering with a growing boutique law firm in Iowa that is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its practice representing business owners and agricultural clients facing complex financial, restructuring, and operational challenges.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys solving legal, financial, and business problems and wants to develop expertise in a specialized practice involving bankruptcy, debt restructuring, commercial litigation, business law, and related matters.ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on legal, financial, and business issuesDraft pleadings, motions, petitions, and other legal documentsConduct legal research and develop case strategiesRepresent clients in negotiations, hearings, mediations, and court proceedingsManage client communications and provide practical, solution-oriented counselWork closely with experienced attorneys on complex and impactful mattersHelp clients navigate significant business and financial challengesQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law schoolLicensed in Iowa or actively pursuing Iowa licensureExperience in one or more of the following areas:Bankruptcy and debt restructuringCommercial litigationBusiness lawSecured lending and loan transactionsReal estate mattersAgricultural lawStrong research, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesInterest in learning the business and agricultural industries
