Behavior Technician Position
Sprout Therapy Group is looking for energetic, communicative individuals to work with neurodiverse children in their homes, schools, and community settings. Sprout will provide training in Applied Behavior Analysis techniques. This job will require an ability to play, an ability to multi-task, and lots of enthusiasm! 3:30 - 5:30 2 Days / week in downtown Charleston, additional Mt. P hours available if desired
Job Tasks:
a. Teach socially appropriate communication and daily living skills to a pediatric population
b. Deliver curriculum / programming in accordance with ABA principles and strategies
c. Take data on a real-time data collection platform
d. Effectively communicate and collaborate with caregivers, teachers, teammates, and members of the community
e. Be willing to work with clients who may exhibit aggression, self-injurious behaviors, or elopement
f. Take RBT test within the first 3 months of employment
Requirements:
b. A high school diploma
c. A reliable method of transportation to clients' homes, schools, and other community locations / events in the Tri-County area
d. A reliable communication device
e. Ability to pass a criminal background check
Good to have:
a. RBT certification
b. Experience in ABA
c. Students developing careers in ABA, education, special education, psychology, speech and language pathology, child development, or occupational therapy

Sessions run Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 6:30 pm and Saturday between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm
Each session is 2-6 hours long
The majority of our sessions run after school, so there will be more opportunity for an afternoon schedule than a morning or midday schedule
Travel Requirements:
No out of town travel
Sprout tries to cluster each tech's caseload by area, although this cannot be guaranteed. Areas include: Downtown and Mt Pleasant, North Area East (North Charleston, Goose Creek, East Summerville, Nexton), North Area West (West Summerville, Lincolnville, Jedburg), West Ashley (West Ashley, James Island, Johns Island)
