We are open to discussing salary expectations with qualified candidates considering factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location will all be considered during the hiring process.Market Design Analyst II - Pay Range: $77,900- $99,320Market Design Analyst I - Pay Range: $64,060 - $78,460 Join our team as a Market Design Analyst!The Market Design Analyst plays a key role in supporting the design, analysis, and implementation of Markets+ services. This position is responsible for understanding current market design, evaluating the impact of proposed changes, and ensuring market functionality aligns with intended outcomes. The role combines analytical expertise, technical collaboration, and stakeholder engagement to help drive successful market operations and enhancements.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and evaluate Markets+ design and proposed changesTest and validate market functionalityDevelop market metrics, reporting, and ad hoc analysisSupport market software development, testing, and implementationIdentify market issues and respond to customer inquiriesProvide technical expertise to stakeholder groups and committeesSupport regulatory (FERC) filings with data and documentationResearch other market designs and industry practicesDocument findings and create educational materialsTo be successful as the Market Design Analyst, we're looking for:Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, or other related fieldMarket Design Analyst I - no experience requiredMarket Design Analyst II - Three years of job-related experienceProficient at organizing and conducting technical and analytical studiesKnowledge of electric market concepts and ability to apply understanding in unique analysisAbility to support diverse team members and manage complex analysis projectsStrong facilitation skillsStrong interpersonal and team-building skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCompetent working skills with communication and data handling software such as Microsoft Office, Excel and AccessDemonstrate proficiency in business acumen and professional conductDemonstrate the ability to function with constantly changing and multiple prioritiesDemonstrate strong organizational skillsPreferredExperience in utility operations, RTO operations or energy tradingExperience with data manipulation and analysis of large data setsPosition Type And Expected Hours Of WorkThis is a full-time position.
