Loss Prevention OfficerDivision: Grand Hyatt NashvilleDescription: The Loss Prevention Officer will patrol hotel premises regularly to maintain order, enforce policies and regulations, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.Responsibilities:Patrol lobbies, corridors, and public rooms, confer with management, interview guests and employees and interrogates persons to detect infringements, investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, etc.Patrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions and damaged or inoperative safety equipment.Warn or eject troublemakers and cautions careless persons.Obtain assistance for accident victims and file accident reports.Notify staff of presence of persons with questionable reputations.Assist management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.May enter and check rooms of guests suspected of leaving without paying bill to confirm suspicions and to seize any remaining personal property.Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalentLicenses/Certifications: Security Office certification preferredPay Rate: $20 per hourPosition Requirements: Successful completion of a background check is required prior to employment.Category: Loss PreventionLocation: Grand Hyatt Nashville 229Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-TimeShift: Various ShiftsNumber of Openings: 1EOE Statement: HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind.
