Payroll Lead (Hybrid | Columbus, OH)We’re partnering with an organization in the Columbus area that’s looking for a hands-on Payroll Lead to oversee payroll operations and support a union workforce. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the work, leading a small team, and serving as a trusted resource for employees and leadership.What you’ll be doing:Leading end-to-end payroll processing on regular payroll cyclesSupporting and guiding a small payroll teamManaging union payroll requirements and ensuring accurate, compliant processingTroubleshooting payroll issues and answering employee pay-related questionsProcessing PTO and supporting employment verificationsAssisting with onboarding tasks and general HR administrative supportProviding strong internal customer service to employees and leadershipWhat we’re looking for:Previous experience in a payroll lead or senior payroll roleStrong background supporting union payroll environmentsComfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-location settingExperience with payroll/HR systems
