Job Overview – Assistant Clinical Director (Behavioral Health)Compensation: $100,000/yearLocation: Brooklyn, NYSchedule: Monday to Friday (On-Site)TAG MedStaffing is hiring an Assistant Clinical Director (Behavioral Health) in Brooklyn, NY for our client, supporting clinical leadership, staff supervision, and behavioral health services within a residential treatment environment. In this role, you will assist with clinical operations, supervise clinical staff, and support treatment planning and care coordination for adolescents receiving behavioral health services. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring clinical practices align with trauma-informed care principles and regulatory standards.Responsibilities as the Assistant Clinical Director (Behavioral Health):Clinical Program Support: Assist in overseeing clinical services and daily operations within a residential behavioral health program serving adolescents.Clinical Supervision: Provide supervision and guidance to transitional coordinators and clinical staff while supporting professional development and clinical best practices.Treatment Planning & Case Oversight: Support treatment planning, case conferences, and care coordination to ensure individualized behavioral health care plans.Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with psychiatry, nursing, therapists, and program leadership to support integrated behavioral health treatment and continuity of care.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure clinical services and documentation remain compliant with OMH, OCFS, and other applicable behavioral health regulations.Qualifications for the Assistant Clinical Director (Behavioral Health):Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution is required.Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New York is required.Experience: 5+ years of behavioral health experience working with adolescents in residential treatment, intensive behavioral health programs, or community mental health settings.Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and behavioral health regulatory standards including OMH and OCFS is required.Technical Skills: Experience using electronic health record systems and clinical documentation platforms within behavioral health programs is preferred.Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong clinical leadership, supervision capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.Application Notice: Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 business days of application.
