Special Educators, Lamoille Union Middle School

Lamoille Union Middle School, is seeking two Special Educators to join our team. Candidates must have strong collaboration and communication skills, experience supervising paraprofessionals and a strong focus on the team process. Applicants must be reliable, flexible, patient, energetic, willing to learn new skills, and be passionate about working with and supporting students.Candidates must have the ability to differentiate instruction to individual learners, develop and follow IEP plans and accommodations and conduct special education evaluations. Knowledge of and experience with explicit literacy instruction preferred. Knowledge of and understanding of the VT Special Education Rules imperative. Qualified applicants should have experience at the elementary and/or middle school level, an understanding of standards-based instruction and a belief that each student can meet high expectations.
