We work with domestic and international partners who share our values and commitment to gender and social equality, and we give back by partnering with foundations that directly benefit our employees, value chain, and surrounding communities.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.Description of DutiesTitle: Product Development InternClassification: NonexemptSalary*: $18.50/hrSchedule*: OnsiteLocation: Van Nuys, CAEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with fabric and trim sourcing, swatch library organization, and vendor communication.Coordinate shipments of samples, materials and packages to mills and vendors.Support with sample management: organizing, labeling, checking in/out and distributing to internal and external teams.Assist with Design Approval Meeting preparation and set up.Assist with Collection Review set up.Research current fashion trends, materials and innovations for seasonal inspiration.Help prepare BOMsProvide general administrative and operational support to Product Development Team in day-to-day functionsQualifications:Computer proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPointStrong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detailFlexible and adaptable in a rapidly growing companyMinimum RequirementsMust be able to be in office a minimum of 4 days a week; full schedule to be determined with supervisors.Physical RequirementsMust be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodationPeriods sitting at a desk, typing, sketching and working on a computerAble to lift/move/push/pull objects up to 25 lbsAble to walk, sit and stand for periods of timeAble to operate equipment such as computers, copy machines, phonesMust be able to access various areas of a given location
