Position Title: Senior Java Architect / Software Solutions ArchitectLocation: Dimondale, MIWork Mode: Hybrid / Onsite (2–5 days onsite per week, no remote-only option)Duration: 9 Months ContractInterview Process: In-Person InterviewImportant Requirements:Local candidates only (must reside within 2 hours of Dimondale, MI)Must be available for in-person interview2–3 professional references required (Name, Email, Phone, Title, Company)Key Skills Required:12+ years of software/application development experience with strong Java expertise5+ years of application architecture experience designing enterprise systems3+ years of microservices, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift experienceStrong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, OracleFront-end expertise with Angular / React / HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript / TypeScriptREST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with relational and NoSQL databasesSecurity protocols: OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect, JWTAutomated testing with JUnit, Selenium (Playwright preferred)Agile / Scrum methodology experienceStrong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skillsResponsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain full-stack enterprise applicationsLead architecture of scalable, secure, high-performance Java solutionsBuild and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party systemsDevelop responsive front-end solutions using modern frameworksDrive CI/CD, containerization, and DevOps best practicesWork closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutionsMentor team members and provide knowledge transferAnalyze user stories, testing, documentation, and Jira-based delivery
