Processing Line 2 Team MemberLeprino Lubbock is seeking a Processing Line 2 Team Member. The Processing Line 2 Team Member is responsible for monitoring block product lines, support product inspection, addback, efficient block production operations, and continuous up time. All other duties as assigned. This position pays $21 per hour. There is an additional $1 differential for hours worked between 6pm and 6am. Weekly pay.Job Duties:Follow all applicable safety rules and regulations, and work in a manner consistent with safe operating procedures according to applicable company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Properly clean and sanitize all equipment following good manufacturing practices (GMP's).Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervision.MES navigation and computer data entry (cheese sample results, cage load & unload tracking).Navigate and operate conveyor controls through wonderware HMI.Operate manual and electric pallet jacks safely and proficiently.Proficiently load & unload blocks from brine cages, and on to block conveyors.Retain cheese samples for testing to identify change overs and chemistry.Monitor and clean brine filter banks.Stage and return packaging materials in production area and warehouse storage.Inspect product and product packaging to ensure quality standards are met.Prepare label machines for labeling products as needed.Assist RapidPak operator with product loading and handling.Maintain cleanliness of area, good housekeeping.Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):Must be 18 years of ageOpen availability to include night shiftMust be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English languageAbility to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to perform mathematical functionsAbility to understand and apply standard operating proceduresAbility to maintain clean work area according to good manufacturing processesAbility to complete written reports, and enter data into and pull data from computer systemsAbility to wear personal protective equipment and comply with all applicable safety practicesGood communication skills to communicate with co-workers and oncoming/outgoing shiftsAbility to work any shift, weekends, holidays and possible overtimeWe Hope You Have (Preferred Qualifications):Six months of work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferredExperience in machine operation and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment is preferredWorking Conditions:This position will be exposed to an operations environment including both wet and dry production areas with loud noise and varying degrees of temperature from freezer to extreme heatBending, squatting and climbing of steps may be needed occasionallySpecific vision may be required for this position, including close vision, distance vision, color and depth perception, and the ability to read computer screens for extended time periodsContinuous moderate physical effort with the employee being able to lift cases of product weighing thirty (30) pounds and ingredients weight fifty (50) poundsLeprino Foods celebrates and supports diversity.
