Apply today to work for a restaurant company that is also a social movement.SummaryThe Sourcing Manager will be responsible in leading and supporting all facets of the supply chain function across a diverse portfolio of restaurant brands. This role will lead supplier management efforts, including performance tracking, relationship building and escalation protocols, to ensure suppliers consistently meet or exceed brand expectations. You will oversee product availability, quality, and cost effectiveness, while championing operational excellence and a seamless experience for internal and external stakeholders.In addition to strategic sourcing responsibilities, this role will support the Supply Chain Operations team with inventory management. This includes monitoring the inventory position across our items at our broadline distributors, liaising with our broadline distributors and supplier partners where needed, as well as handling the intake and general administrative management of inquiries into the Supply Chain Team.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging end-to-end sourcing across several major categories, including developing category/sourcing strategies, bottom-up cost modeling, running competitive RFX events, negotiating contracts and ongoing supplier managementEvaluating supplier proposals; reviewing proposed products and servicesNegotiating cost effective pricing programs, adhering to MOD guidelines and quality specifications Being accountable for supplier relationships and performance managementFacilitating Key Business Reviews to ensure alignment with suppliers related to performance, continuous improvement goals, and platform strategy.Facilitate supplier involvement in joint continuous improvement efforts with a focus on quality and lead-time.Maintaining Supplier Scorecards and KPIs to facilitate continuous improvement in the areas of Production, Fulfillment, Quality, Cost of Goods, Inventory Management, Waste, and other metrics.Ensuring that standard costs are set and aligned to contractual commitments.Assisting in the timely resolution of day-to-day issues that occur at MOD Pizza locations with your category or supplier partners. Building and maintaining solid relationships with strategic supply chain partnersPartnering with Culinary, Marketing, and Operations Services to enhance menu offerings and packaging solutions at favorable pricing.Identifying areas for cost reduction, supporting efforts to improve value wherever possible.Evaluating impact resulting from changes and exceptions in processesCollaborating with food safety and quality to mitigate risks throughout the supply chainUse existing software, reporting, and analytical tools to review inventory positions at our distributor for new products and limited time offer productsCollate and communicate/flag implementation timing concerns with our broadline distributor and supplier partners where neededDrive process improvements in administrative areas of the supplier onboarding and management processMaintain and update supply chain databases pertaining to contract administration and pricing agreement compliance and reporting to support strategic sourcingBasic Qualifications5+ years of direct work experience in food sourcing / supply chain management Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Base understanding and working knowledge of purchasing and supply management, and how it relates to operations.Experience commercializing multi-market/region, multi-channel product introductions.Strong working knowledge of sourcing, supply management, logistics, and food and beverage categoriesAbility to run cost savings analysis measuring savings/impact.Working knowledge of supply chain (demand planning, sourcing, distribution), and how it relates to field operationsAbility to travel as required (e.g., supplier visits)Strong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsRestaurant Experience Physical RequirementsOffice work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects.
