Senior Software Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTIONInsight Global is hiring for senior level Kubernetes Software Engineers who will be joining the Kubernetes Team within the cloud organization of a major semiconductor company. Your job is to design and build a distributed management system that:-Runs Kubernetes control planes reliably across thousands of enterprise environments-Manages the full lifecycle of Kubernetes workload clusters-Integrates deeply with storage, networking, identity, and VM infrastructure-Preserves enterprise guarantees around availability, upgrades, and operability-This is platform engineering at scale, with real production impact to 1000s of enterprise customers.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE-Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years or master's degree and 6+ years of hands-on experience building and operating Kubernetes-based systems-Strong experience designing and implementing distributed systems in Go / C++ / Java-Experience working in an Agile environment using Git-based workflows-Ability to debug production issues across multiple layers -Comfort leveraging AI for security and storage purposesNICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE-Outreach into the Kubernetes community(contributions to CNCF)
