Director of Finance
Job Description: Owning cash management and treasury, including rolling 13-week forecasts, runway visibility, and proactive risk identificationBuilding and managing the annual budget in partnership with the COO, including monthly variance reporting and department-level P&LsLeading pricing and unit economics analysis, including LTV, payback periods, and offer profitability modelingSupporting leadership decision-making by providing clear financial recommendations backed by dataModeling hire sequencing and organizational growth scenarios tied to revenue milestonesOverseeing financial operations including credit card processes, vendor management, and financial controlsManaging external partners including CPA firms, tax strategy teams, and financial vendorsBuilding and scaling the internal finance function, including hiring and developing team members as the business growsEnsuring clean, accurate, and timely monthly closes and financial reportingPartnering cross-functionally with leadership to align financial strategy with business objectivesRequirements: Proven experience scaling a finance function in a high-growth company, ideally from $10M to $50M+ in revenue or equivalent experienceStrong expertise across both accounting and FP&A, with the ability to manage current financials and model future performanceExperience building and leading finance teams, including hiring and developing talentStrong financial modeling skills with experience influencing pricing, hiring, and strategic decisionsOperator mindset with the ability to make recommendations and drive decisions, not just report on dataExperience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving prioritiesFamiliarity with modern financial tools and AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency and scalabilityStrong communication skills with the ability to clearly present financial insights to non-financial stakeholdersBenefits: Health insurance401(k) matchingFlexible work hoursPaid time offProfessional development opportunities
