Medical Assistant OpportunityChesapeake Specialty Care is looking for a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented full-time medical assistant to join our growing practice. We welcome both experienced medical assistants and candidates who are eager to build hands-on clinical experience in a collaborative, physician-led environment.This role offers the opportunity to expand your clinical and administrative skills while working closely with physicians and supporting high-quality patient care across multiple office locations.As part of our team, you will rotate between our four office locations in Owings Mills, Rosedale, Westminster, and Columbia. Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between offices as scheduled are essential.ScheduleFull-time, Monday through Friday8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM30-minute unpaid lunch breakNo weekendsWhat You'll DoWelcome and room patients while obtaining medical histories and documenting concernsRecord vital signs and assist providers with clinical proceduresProcess prescription requests through the electronic health record (EHR)Coordinate insurance pre-authorizations for procedures and treatmentsProvide administrative support, including answering phones and assisting with patient communicationMaintain organized records and support office workflow as neededAdapt to different office settings while helping provide a consistent, high-quality patient experience across all locationsPerform additional duties to support the clinical team and patient care operationsWhat We're Looking ForPrevious medical office experience is helpful, but we are willing to train strong, motivated candidatesExcellent communication, organization, and multitasking skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environmentFlexibility and reliability with travel between Owings Mills, Westminster, Columbia, and Rosedale officesInterest in patient care, healthcare operations, and professional growthEducation & QualificationsHigh School Diploma requiredCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferredBenefitsMedical insurance optionsDental insurance optionVision insurance optionEmployer-paid short-term disability coverageLife insurance optionGenerous paid time off (PTO)401(k) retirement planAbout Us Chesapeake Specialty Care is a physician-owned and physician-led specialty practice focused on nasal and sinus disorders, allergy treatment, general ear care, diagnostic audiology, and hearing aid services.
