Robert Half is partnering with a local architectural firm to identify an experienced AutoCAD Specialist for an immediate, short‐term contract. This role is fully onsite in Spokane, WA and will support the team with architectural drafting, updating drawings, and making revisions based on redlines. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in AutoCAD, comfortable working quickly and accurately, and experienced with design adjustments and final delivery corrections.Job Title: AutoCAD DrafterLocation: Fully on-site in Spokane, WAContract Type: Contract only for nowDuration: 6-8 weeksSchedule: M-F, 40 hours, open to PT availability (21-30 hours)Pay Range: $30-35 on W2Target Start Date: ASAPDay‐to‐Day Responsibilities:Support the landscape architecture team with drafting and plan updatesWork primarily in AutoCAD (90–95% of the time) to execute assigned tasksReview daily and weekly priorities set by the principalImplement redlines, revisions, and design adjustments already established by the teamUpdate drawings to reflect corrections, edits, and delivery requirementsEnsure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all drawingsCheck in daily with the principal to align on priorities and any urgent needsProactively identify follow‐up changes or additional adjustments beyond marked redlinesMeet short‐term deadlines during an onboarding and transition periodCollaborate closely with a small, in‐office team on an as‐needed basisMust‐Haves:Strong hands‐on experience as an AutoCAD DrafterComfortable spending 90–95% of time working in AutoCADExperience executing redlines, revisions, and design corrections accuratelyHigh attention to detail and ability to anticipate follow‐up changesProactive, self‐driven work style; naturally asks "what's next?"Ability to work quickly and meet short‐term deadlinesTeam‐oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in where neededComfortable working onsite and collaborating directly with a PrincipalReliable availability to start immediately for a short‐term engagement
