Details Position is in the MS/Tele unit of an acute care hospital Serves a patient population requiring med/surg and telemetry care Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. Every other weekend is required Floating within scope to similar units may be required Epic is the charting system used; EMR experience preferred Requirements Active SC or compact RN license must be in hand prior to start Two years of recent MS/Tele experience required Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred SSN and driver’s license required for consideration First-time travelers accepted Previous permanent employees must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible as travelers Must be located outside a 60-mile radius unless approved as a local candidate Additional Information Royal blue scrubs are required Level III trauma environment with 286 staffed beds Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start Block scheduling requests can be made but are not guaranteed Holiday and RTO policies require all requests to be submitted up front and are subject to approval based on facility needs Free parking is available on site Locals may be considered at a local rate on a case-by-case basis American Traveler Job ID P-652985.
