This role involves working with control systems, supporting equipment automation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as GMP and FDA requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design, development, and implementation of automation systems and control strategiesSupport PLC, HMI, and SCADA system configuration and troubleshootingAssist in programming and modifying control systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, DeltaV)Support commissioning and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of automated equipment and systemsTroubleshoot automation and process control issues in manufacturing environmentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, Validation, and OperationsAssist in preparing technical documentation, SOPs, and validation protocolsSupport data collection, analysis, and reporting for process improvementsEnsure compliance with GMP, FDA, and regulatory requirementsParticipate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) activitiesAssist in integrating automation systems with MES, historians, or other plant systemsSupport preventive maintenance and system upgradesRequired SkillsBasic understanding of PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation systemsKnowledge of control systems and instrumentation fundamentalsFamiliarity with automation platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or DeltaVUnderstanding of GMP and regulated environmentsBasic programming knowledge (ladder logic, function blocks, or scripting)Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsGood communication and teamwork abilitiesPreferred SkillsInternship or project experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industryExposure to validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and documentation practicesFamiliarity with MES systems, data historians (OSI-PI), or industrial networksKnowledge of industry standards such as FDA, GAMP 5, or ISO guidelinesExperience with AutoCAD or electrical drawingsExperience0–2 years of experience in automation, controls engineering, or related fieldFresh graduates with relevant academic projects or internships are encouraged to applyApply / Refer:AbhiRecruiter | United Consulting HubEmail: abhiram@unitedconsultinghub.com
