Field Sales Representative

Job DescriptionAn established, highly reputable, provider of revolutionary conveyers, idlers and rollers, has an opportunity for you to contribute to the strategic development of this organization. Our reputation is built on quality, personalized service, and attention to detail.Reporting to the General Manager, the outside sales representative’s main function will be to generate new sales with new clients in both existing and new industries. Preference will be given to those with previous experience selling conveyers, idlers and/or rollers. This position provides a base salary, (which is listed), but commissions.Essential ResponsibilitiesHigh level of customer service and customer relationsVery active prospecting and closing deals, both in person and over the phoneSell all services and parts offered, while achieving required margins and KPI’s.Follow all procedures and processes, with updates in TrelloFollow check list and sales requirements to ensure all costs are captured for bidsCompile accurate and complete customer requirementsTrack and report sales activities, use Trello for updatesEnsure projects are viable and the crew is clear on the planAccurately tracks and reports expensesKeeps supervisor informed about the status of work being performedInforms the supervisor about problems and potential problems as early as possibleRespect the confidentiality of the Company, customer and personnel informationMaintain cooperative working relationships with supervisors and other staff membersConsistently shows the ability to recognize and deal with prioritiesPerforms all duties in an independent manner with little supervisionRecognizing and performing duties which need to be performed, although not directly assigned, and assisting others as neededOther duties and tasks as assignedMeasures of Performance:Maintains a safe work environmentClosed sales, total sales goalsBid accuracy, achieve margin goalsUse of tools and accurate sales reportsPositive outlook, strong work ethic, high level of sales activityDemonstrate good judgement and decision makingSeeks guidance and direction as necessary for the performance of dutiesAt least 5 years in a related industry and robust networkKnowledge of industrial parts and maintenance and understanding of our work5+ years of sales experienceCollege degree preferredPass a background check and drug screenStrong mathematical and mechanical aptitudeAbility to sit at a desk or in a vehicle for long periods, climb stairs and laddersProficient with Microsoft Office software and TrelloClean driving recordWorking Conditions:Desk work on computer and phone in home officeTravel by vehicle to client facilities.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Exposure to outside environment and dusty, dirty conditions at customer facilitiesWe are an equal employment opportunity company with a drug-free workplace.
