Apply via Dice today!Trade Surveillance Business AnalystNYC, NY3 days on siteContract to hire Opportunity On site interview required - Only candidates local to the NYC area will be consideredMust have Trade Surveillance experience backgroundLooking for a Trade Surveillance Business Analyst to Create prototypes, Build clients relationships and manage expectations and Work closely with clients to define the scope and business requirementsResponsibilitiesWrite detailed functional requirements and use casesPartner with data providers to ensure model requirements are metSupport development team in creating detailed technical specificationsfocusPerform independent validation with and execution planningManage the QA team with test case writingConduct UAT, training sessions and user demosSupport ongoing user requirements and investigate issuesRequired Skills:The candidate should be capable of understanding and solving highly complex problems, have excellent communication skills and have financial services experience, preferably in the areas of investment banking and trading.Business Analysis experienceData Analysis experience; Strong data analytical skills (SQL)Capital Markets knowledge, preferably in Sales & Trading or Investment BankingKnowledge of trades data, positions data, reference data.IT Project Management and SDLC knowledge/experience (Waterfall, Agile)IT knowledge/experienceExperience working in medium to large-scale development projectsExcellent written and communication skills
