Process Engineer (Chemical Engineering Degree Required)

Job DescriptionConduct construction document reviews as requiredPlan, organize, and coordinate process / mechanical engineering and multi-disciplinedteam / design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phasesof engineering projects including project startupPrepare and review calculations and specifications relating to Piping and InstrumentationDiagram (P&ID) developmentDemonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems andequipment designGenerate and review the accuracy of design / evaluation calculations, and specifications.Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is requiredBasic Job RequirementsMust be a U.S. Citizen.Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of ten (10)years of experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation,construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.Must have a working knowledge of federal (including Department of Energy Orders), state,and local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
