Store Associate

This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop versatile skills in retail sales, inventory control, and warehouse operations—all while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. *Responsibilities* * Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping experience, providing product knowledge and excellent customer service * Stock shelves and displays accurately, ensuring products are organized and accessible * Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners to manage inventory movement * Conduct inventory control activities including stock counts, cycle counts, and replenishment to maintain accurate records * Load and unload shipments safely using forklifts or manual handling techniques, following safe lifting practices * Support shipping & receiving processes by preparing orders for delivery or transfer within the store or warehouse * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and storage areas to ensure a safe shopping environment * Assist with merchandising tasks to promote products effectively and enhance store presentation * Handle cashiering duties including processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations * Communicate effectively with team members across departments to coordinate tasks efficiently *Experience* * Previous retail store experience or warehouse operations background is highly preferred * Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklift operation is a plus * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stock control and product placement * Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customers * Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices * Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory tracking * Proven customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters positive interactions * Experience in grocery or retail environments involving produce, packaging, merchandising, and sales is beneficial Embark on a rewarding career journey where your energy makes a difference!
