Our client is seeking a Senior Data Modeler who is responsible for defining and executing enterprise data strategy, with a focus on designing scalable, high-quality data models and integration frameworks. This role leads the development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensures accurate data mapping and transformation, and establishes robust data architecture to support analytics and business operations—particularly for cost basis data domains.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive data strategy, approach, and integration architecturePerform data profiling and analyze existing vendor and internal datasets to identify relationships and data dependenciesDevelop and document data mapping requirements, including transformation logic and calculationsReview and validate data mapping decisions with business and technical stakeholdersDesign and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data modelsCreate and manage canonical data models for cost basis data objectsDefine data entities, relationships, and object structuresDevelop entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs) and other data design artifactsValidate data models against existing data and business rulesDefine and implement data structures in target tables and RDBMS environmentsCreate database objects, schemas, and supporting/helper tablesProduce data flow diagrams and document end-to-end data movementDesign and document data integration architectureDevelop low-level design specifications for data solutionsEnsure adherence to data governance, standards, and best practicesThe base hourly range for this contract position is $80–$110 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations.
