This role leads officers on shift and ensures compliance with access, safety, and post requirements.Minimum Qualifications1+ year of security supervisory or lead experience3+ years verified security, law enforcement, corrections, or military experienceExperience with access control, badging, or credentialing systemsAbility to obtain and maintain a State Security LicenseValid driver's license with clean MVRKey ResponsibilitiesSupervise officers during assigned shifts in a controlled-access industrial facilityEnforce post orders, site security procedures, and access policiesSupport operation of access control systems, including badge activation/deactivationMonitor restricted areas and ensure role-based access complianceRespond to and document security incidents and access violationsConduct patrols and work posts as requiredProvide coaching, guidance, and corrective action to officersCommunicate issues and shift activity to Lieutenants or Site ManagementAssist with emergency response, lockdowns, and access restrictionsRequired SkillsAbility to lead and direct officers on shiftKnowledge of access-controlled manufacturing environmentsStrong decision-making and situational awarenessClear written and verbal communicationFlexibility to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operationPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand or sit for a minimum of 1 hourAbility to walk ½ mile and climb 20 stairs without stoppingEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent (required)Note: Responsibilities and qualifications may change based on business needs.Security Engineers, Inc.
