The OR RN Circulator Educator provides education and instruction for Good Shepherd staff, focused on clinical staff. This position acts as a resource to all staff regarding healthcare education and training programs. The OR RN Circulator Educator introduces technical and theoretical concepts in teaching techniques to staff and others as needed. This position supports the development of education with department managers and clinical nurse coordinators. The OR RN Circulator Educator is proficient, or will become proficient, in the use of simulation training using mannequins and simulation software. This position works closely with other members of the Quality Management team to promote continuous improvement throughout the system. The OR RN Circulator Educator also works closely with the Quality Management team and department managers across the system to identify educational opportunities. Assists with Quality Department activities as requested. Charting System: Epic Client Interview Required: Yes Client Interview Details: Phone/Teams Interview w/Unit Manager Minimum Experience and Certification Required: - BSN - OR RN license - 5 Year minimum in a hospital - 3 years of OR - BLS/ ACLS - PALS - TNCC Preferred: -CNOR, Peri-op 101 - Experience teaching others and developing courses, including direct teaching and evaluating the learning process. - Experience with teaching theories and learning models. - Experience working with/teaching utilizing simulation manikins and software. - Experience as a clinical staff educator.
