Solutions Engineer

Job Description - 6 month contract with extensions and likely conversion - onsite - WingstopThe Senior Solutions Engineer (SE) is a key member of the international technology team, serving as a strategic technical advisor and solutions architect for global business partners. This role focuses on web-native development, cloud architecture, and enterprise observability across both digital platforms and in-store technologies. The SE is responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end observability solutions that provide visibility into system performance, reliability, and operational health across above-store systems (e.g., CRM, eCommerce, cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP) and in-store restaurant technologies (e.g., POS and related systems). A successful SE is a collaborative, culturally competent relationship-builder with strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and deep technical acumen. This individual operates with core values such as accountability, transparency, and a passion for learning and sharing knowledge. The SE partners closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams to support initiatives such as new market entries, platform launches, operational modernization, and long-term system scalability and reliability. Required Skills & Experience2–5 years of experience in a technical solutions engineering, platform engineering, or solutions architecture role focused on web and cloud-based systems.Proven experience designing or implementing observability solutions using tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Splunk, or similar platforms.Strong background in cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), DevOps practices, and system integration.Experience supporting full development lifecycle execution within agile environments.Experience working with consumer-facing (B2C) digital platforms, including eCommerce and CRM systems.Experience in retail, QSR, or hospitality environments is required.Working knowledge of in-store restaurant technologies, with at minimum a foundational understanding of POS systems and how they operate within restaurant environments. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
