We are seeking a hands-on Production Manager who can bring clarity, consistency, and strong operational discipline to a growing and evolving manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to introduce structure where it’s needed—without slowing things down or overcomplicating the work.You’ll lead production and logistics operations with a focus on improving organization, strengthening processes, and building team alignment, all while maintaining a collaborative and practical approach. Success in this role comes from balancing accountability with adaptability—setting clear expectations, supporting the team, and driving continuous improvement in a way that earns trust and gets results.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations across Production and Logistics, ensuring coordination, efficiency, and accountabilityDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow, reduce errors, and increase throughputEnsure production orders are executed accurately from start to finish, including buffer production, dispensing, kit packaging, and shippingLead and develop teams by setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and ensuring successful executionMaintain readiness of materials and components to support uninterrupted productionEnforce proper handling of chemical materials using established laboratory and safety practicesEnsure all documentation is completed thoroughly to maintain full traceability of production lotsManage budgets and control costs, including equipment purchasing and maintenance planningUphold all company, industry, and regulatory safety and environmental standardsTrain and mentor staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and best practicesChampion compliance with quality and environmental management systems (ISO and related standards)Ensure new team members are properly onboarded and trained in operational, safety, and compliance requirementsMaintain low internal and customer error rates through disciplined execution and oversightPrioritize production activities based on ship dates, customer needs, and business impactPerform additional duties as needed to support operational successRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience leading teams in a structured, process-driven environmentBachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent hands-on leadership experienceProven ability to operate within defined procedures while maintaining efficiency and accountabilityStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, documentation, and follow-throughDemonstrated leadership, communication, and team development skillsExperience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)Familiarity with ERP/MRP systemsAbility to obtain full-face respirator certification upon hireAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periodsPreferred QualificationsAPICS certification or equivalent experience in supply chain and inventory managementLean Six Sigma certification or experience driving process improvement initiativesWhy Join Us?We are a Great Place to Work certified company.
