If you love solving puzzles, building new things, fixing what’s broken, or pushing the boundaries of creativity, we encourage you to explore the details of the positions below!The Competitive Benchmarking Intern will create a comprehensive report summarizing key competitors, messaging patterns, content strategies, and positioning opportunities. To accomplish this project, you will:Support research and analysis of peer consulting firms operating in the federal and defense technology market.Research marketing strategies and positioning used by peer consulting firms and technology partners.Analyze competitor websites, messaging, and service offerings.Conduct keyword and SEO research to identify common themes and focus areas across competitors.Evaluate competitor content across channels such as LinkedIn, blogs, videos, and webinars.Identify patterns in how firms present capabilities, thought leadership, and technical expertise.Assist in compiling findings into reports that highlight differentiation opportunities for UNCOMN.Support additional marketing research and analysis as needed.The Persona Insights Intern will produce validated contact and program updates within our CRM (HubSpot) and develop a short guide for repeatable research and validation processes. To accomplish this project, you will:Support research and data validation efforts related to federal programs, organizations, and key decision-makers. Conduct research on organizations, programs, and leaders across Department of Defense and federal agencies. Validate and update contact and organization data within UNCOMN’s CRM system.Identify changes in leadership, program ownership, and organizational structure.Support the development and validation of AI-assisted research outputs by reviewing findings for accuracy and completeness.Identify patterns or recurring issues in automated research outputs and provide feedback to improve internal workflows.This position descriptions outline the core duties for these roles, but they are not all-inclusive. Responsibilities may shift based on contract requirements, mission needs, or organizational objectives. RequirementsCurrently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program.Must be located in the St. Louis or Scott AFB area and able to work a hybrid schedule of up to 30 hours per week. The team is typically onsite Tuesday-Thursday, with flexibility coordinated directly with the manager.Must be eligibl e to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government, as needed, which requires US citizenship.
