Future Opening: Commercial Insurance Account ExecutiveSummary/ObjectiveThe Commercial Account Representative will work directly with agency clients ensuring they receive excellent service, comprehensive insurance offerings and through reviews of existing policies.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Work with sales team to review best coverages for accountsMake and Receive calls to agency insureds regarding policy questions, renewals, and new businessQuickly learn the agency management system and standardized system of filingInput data into management system in an accurate and timely mannerShop new and renewal business accounts through insurance marketCollaborate with sales team to secure renewal businessIndependent servicing of assigned book of business, endorsements, policy changes and record keepingRemotely send accounts for signature and bindingAssist the Senior Commercial account manager with excess workflowUnderstanding of Commercial Insurance Rating FactorsUnderstanding of Carrier Guidelines and AppetitesCommunication proficiency in person and by phone with team members and insuredsProficiency forming emails to clients and responding to team member requestsEthical ConductSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has supervision responsibility of a virtual assistantThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some overtime may be required. Some weekend event participation may be required.TravelMinimal to zero travel required. Travel to local events may be required.Required Education and ExperienceHigh school Graduation or GED440 Insurance License2 Years experience commercial underwritingPreferred Education and Experience220 Insurance License4 Years industry experience in commercial underwritingAdditional Eligibility QualificationsCommercial Department Experience at an independent agency.Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and AMS360Compensation: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearYour Single Source for all insurance needs.
