Job Overview Join our team as an Electronics Engineer working on the development of a state‑of‑the‑art avionics product in a world‑class Integrated Product Development environment. The role is located at the Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton, CO and requires full‑time onsite presence with a flexible 9x80 schedule that provides every other Friday off. Key Activities Support manufacturing, production, and test activities by monitoring hardware from the start of production build through acceptance and qualification test programs. Engage with the production floor, test conductors, and various M& P engineers. Resolve component/box‑level test anomalies and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with stakeholders such as certified test conductors, quality engineering, and program leadership. Generate, review, and present technical packages including Engineering Change Requests (ERB/CCB), Failure Review Boards (FRB), product certification documents, and technical interchange packages. Participate in engineering reviews such as Change Review Board, Engineering Review Board, Quality Review Board, Material Review Board, and Failure Review Boards. Mentor teammates on best practices for electronics design, testing, and close‑out activities. Learn about worst‑case analysis and part‑stress analysis and update designs as necessary. Requirements Experience in designing and troubleshooting electronic hardware. Previous work on integrated product teams. 1+ year of professional experience in a similar role. U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Willingness to travel to other Lockheed sites. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent STEM degree. Prior experience in the electrical life‑cycle with design and/or test of electrical hardware. Desired Skills Experience with CREO, Zuken, or similar CAD tools. Experience with Communication, Navigation and Identification subsystems. System integration, test and troubleshooting experience. Ability to develop detailed electrical designs, define functional and test requirements, create interconnection diagrams, schematics at various levels, and produce design drawings and parts lists. Experience specifying and interpreting electrical design requirements and performing trade studies for high‑reliability components in aircraft and missile/space flight applications. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to document and present resolutions through ERB, FRB, and similar processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
