CNC Lathe Machinist - Broken Arrow
Our Broken Arrow location is searching for a CNC Lathe Machinist at our 1300 E Ft. Worth St. plant. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined with an eye for detail. We run manual machines to produce and repair support equipment. We also maintain the highest level of efficiencies and compliance with customer specifications. We will train!
Starting pay is $18-20 per hour with the potential for increase based on performance.
Wage increases available for strong work performance and solid attendance.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Repairs for Liquid Injection Tools
Oversee machine conditioning troubleshooting
Inspect manufactured parts for conformance to specifications
Setting up and operating conventional, special-purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers to assist in the manufacture of injection molds and related fixtures.
Verifying conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
Notify supervisor of excessive defects on any particular component
Ability to read and understand blueprints and basic math skills
Receive training to run any and all equipment
Perform all work safely, following all safety procedures
Process documentation associated with rework and nonconformance manufactured products
Operating a manual mill or lathe, six months to a year experience preferred or technical school
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Speak to others to convey information effectively
Use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions to problems
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Prefer six months to a year experience
