This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that directly impacts lives in the St Charles County, MO area.Role Description The Program Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in O'Fallon, MO, responsible for overseeing and coordinating programs that serve young families; Sparrow Support is our financial assistance program and Alternatives to Abortion serves pregnant women. This role includes planning, implementing, and evaluating program activities, ensuring services align with organizational goals and client needs. The Program Manager supervises program staff and volunteers, manages schedules, and maintains clear documentation and reporting for internal use and external stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include intake and assessment of participants, coordinating referrals and resources, and monitoring outcomes to improve program effectiveness. The Program Manager also collaborates with community partners, supports grant and reporting requirements, and contributes to outreach efforts that increase awareness and participation in The Sparrow’s Nest programs.QualificationsExperience in program management or coordination, including planning, implementation, and evaluation of services.Strong skills in team leadership, staff and volunteer supervision, and collaborative work with community partners.Proficiency in communication, including clear written documentation, participant communication, and stakeholder reporting.Organizational and administrative skills, such as scheduling, record-keeping, and basic data tracking for program outcomes.Background in social services, nonprofit work, family support, or a related field; prior experience working with young families is highly beneficial.Ability to work on-site in O'Fallon, MO, maintain professional boundaries, and demonstrate empathy and cultural sensitivity.Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, public administration, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.Basic proficiency with office software and databases; comfort learning new tools and systems as needed.
