Sr. Back End JAVA Developer

Architect Colorado Springs, CO Top Secret/SCI Responsibilities: Provide subject matter expertise and support for Windows, Linux, networking, storage, virtualization, and other IT systems. Maintain and operate infrastructure across multiple platforms, including Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, VMware, and storage solutions. Develop and maintain automation scripts using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell. Perform security hardening of systems using industry best practices and guidelines. Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly and independently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement IT solutions. Assist with hardware tasks such as racking, troubleshooting, and component replacement. Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of professional experience in building, deploying, and troubleshooting IT systems across multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, etc.). Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or OpenStack. Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, or PowerShell). Ability to work with mission-critical and sensitive systems, demonstrating a sense of urgency. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as MCSE, RHCSA, or CCNA. Experience with storage solutions like Ceph and/or Unity Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Openstack Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible or Terraform. Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
