About the Opportunity:The Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer role is a senior technical and architectural leadership position focused on modernizing infrastructure through automation and Infrastructure-as-Code. The role is responsible for designing and implementing automation frameworks and pipelines, driving modernization efforts, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals. This position is pivotal in enhancing infrastructure resilience, scalability, and operational efficiency.3. Responsibilities:Lead modernization of Windows Server and hybrid infrastructure with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code.Analyze and improve legacy automation frameworks and deployment pipelines.Design and implement automation using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Harness, and CI/CD tools.Architect Windows Server lifecycle management including deployment, configuration, patching, and security.Conduct technical and architectural discussions with senior client stakeholders.Provide senior-level engineering support across Windows, Linux, virtualization, cloud, and infrastructure.Establish engineering standards, documentation, and best practices.Collaborate with client teams to define modernization roadmaps and deliver measurable outcomes.4. Requirements:Expert-level experience with Windows Server (2019 and 2025 preferred).Strong PowerShell development skills and automation framework creation.Proficiency in Python for automation and tooling.Practical experience with Ansible, Terraform, Harness, and Infrastructure-as-Code.Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and modernization.Experience refactoring legacy automation code and improving documentation.Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM/MECM, Windows security baselines, and system hardening.Automation integration experience with VMware vSphere 8 and 9.Ability to lead architecture reviews and engage with diverse stakeholders.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and consulting skills.Linux administration and automation experience is a plus.Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in cross-functional teams.Availability to travel if required.5.
