We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Electrical Supervisor to join our team and lead our electrical assembly and installation operations.Job OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Manufacturing Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage our electrical assembly and installation processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical contracting, assembly, and installation, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the activities of electrical assembly teams and installation crewsEnsure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policiesDevelop and implement efficient work processes and procedures for electrical assembly and installationManage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure on-time and within-budget completionConduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective actions as neededProvide technical guidance and support to team members on complex electrical issuesCollaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiencyMaintain accurate records of electrical work, including schematics, diagrams, and documentationTrain and mentor team members on best practices, safety procedures, and new technologiesTroubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely mannerStay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practicesManage inventory of electrical components and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levelsCoordinate with suppliers and contractors for procurement of materials and servicesConduct regular safety meetings and promote a culture of safety awarenessQualificationsRequired:Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical assembly, contracting, or installation in a manufacturing environmentProven supervisory experience in managing electrical teamsIn-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installation techniquesProficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprintsStrong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulationsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong leadership and communication abilities480V 3-phase power systems, safety circuits, and automated process controls.Preferred:Journeyman/Master Electrician, Certified Electrical Contractor (EC) Proffered.Knowledge of PLC's (Allen-Bradley preferred) VFD's, motor controls, sensors, and control panels.Experience with automation and control systemsKnowledge of CE, UL, NEC, and OSHA electrical standards/CodesFamiliarity with project management methodologies
