Position SummaryAt Busey, our tellers develop relationships with customers by offering best-in-class customer service, asking targeted questions, and providing accurate and efficient banking transactions. As an associate in one of our service centers we also count on tellers to focus on our customer's experience - greeting, listening to understand needs, and utilizing resources for prompt solution. We have a team of trainers ready to set you up to succeed!Duties & ResponsibilitiesMonday through Friday shifts are 8:30 AM-3:00 PM or 11:00 AM-5:30 PM. Every Saturday 8:45 AM-12:15 PM.Facilitate an excellent customer service experience, while maintaining confidentiality & professionalismComplete customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling.Refer customers to bankers, allowing for further discovery of products and services that might be valuableBalance cash drawer, daily, with high degree of accuracy.Appropriately gain manager assistance (Ex: should suspicious transaction activity be spotted, or additional clearance is needed for transaction amount/type.)Scanning work for image branch capture.Other duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceKnowledge of:Strong customer service skillsStrong interpersonal communication skillsBank compliance, security, and operational policiesAbility to:Learn to operate basic office equipment and systems at teller terminal.Accurately count moneyPerform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressuresStand for extended periods of timeLift 50 poundsEducation and Training:High School diploma (or equivalent)Cash handling experience (preferred)Benefits and CompensationSalary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends.
