ABOUT US:Millennium Therapy is looking to add a Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN Occupational Therapist to our staff in Charles City, IA and surrounding area for the Skilled Nursing setting. Our therapy teams succeed through patient tailored treatments, flexible scheduling, and effective communication to meet the individualized goals of each patient.PAY:Negotiable - based on experienceHOURS:30-40 Hours/Week FlexibleOCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST BENEFITSMedicalDentalVision401kPersonal Day(s)PTOContinuing EducationFlexible Scheduling & More!OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy and Professional Licensure in the state of hire; two years of clinical experience preferred.Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Utilizes effective time management skills.Strong organizational and analytical skills.OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST REQUIREMENTS:Occupational Therapist provides patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload.Participates in the clinical team process.Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff.Involvement in clinical program development.Supervises other licensed occupational therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required. Some programs with two or more occupational therapists/assistants may provide additional administrative duties as assigned.
