Position Overview:We are seeking a UI Developer and Designer with a strong background in Angular development who is equally passionate about user interface design. Utilizing your experience in the latest versions of Angular, knowledge of HTML and CSS you will be responsible for designing and creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. In addition to your technical skills, your eye for design will be crucial in delivering an exceptional user experience. Your contributions will directly impact our customers' satisfaction and the overall success of our products This role is ideal for someone who not only excels in front-end development but also has a keen eye for creating intuitive, visually stunning, and user-friendly interfaces.As a key part of our product development team, you will be responsible for crafting seamless and engaging user experiences. You will combine your skills in Angular development with an aesthetic sense of UI design, ensuring that every interaction is both functional and visually appealing. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the position of UI Angular Developer and Designer should possess a strong understanding of latest versions of Angular (15 or higher) and its various features, as well as extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development. They should be able to design and develop innovative and visually appealing user interfaces, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of design principles. The candidate must be able to combine their technical expertise with some creative flare to create intuitive and responsive designs. A portfolio of examples showing some design work would be extremely helpful but not necessary. An ideal candidate would be able to make design decisions and talk to the benefits of the design decision made. Experience with user research methods and UX design principles is also preferred. WordPress knowledge would be a tremendous advantage as we will be migrating WordPress applications into an Angular tech stack. A good understanding of reusable components and D.R.Y. development is required. The ideal candidate would also be able to rapidly deliver functional user interfaces as prototypes using temporary data that full-stack or back-end engineers can connect to data services as they become available. Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and prototyping of high-quality user interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, ensuring alignment with our brand guidelines and enhancing user experience across devicesDevelop and maintain comprehensive design systems and reusable component libraries to ensure consistency across projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end designsBuild, test, and maintain robust front-end code using Angular to create dynamic and responsive web applications.Ensure designs and implementations are responsive and optimized for a variety of devices, including mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms.Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, best practices, and design technologies to improve the overall user experience.Work closely with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of APIs and server-side functionality into the UI.Utilize HTML and CSS to create visually appealing and responsive layouts.Conduct testing and troubleshooting of UI elements to ensure optimal user experience.Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand project objectives and requirements.Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.Work with version control systems (Git) to manage codebase.Debug and fix any reported issues or bugs in a timely manner.Maintain code quality and ensure codebase is well-documented for future reference. Implement best practices in front-end performance and accessibility to ensure fast load times and a smooth user experience. Required SkillsDesign Expertise: Proven experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio showcasing beautiful, user-centric interfaces.Angular Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Angular (preferably the latest version) and front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.Design Tools: Proficiency in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, or similar design software.Creative Problem-Solver: Ability to think outside the box and create elegant design solutions that address user pain points.Design Principles: Strong understanding of typography, color and theory, layout principles, and the use of white space to create, clean cohesive design.User Testing: Experience with usability testing, A/B testing, and gathering qualitative and quantitative feedback to iterate on designs.Collaborative Spirit: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members, translating user and business needs into beautiful, functional interfaces.Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for detail, ensuring that all designs are pixel-perfect and align with branding standards.
