Travel ECMO Respiratory Therapist – CVICU/PICU - $2,794 per week

Must have ECMO Specialist experience Patient Diagnoses: Post cardiac surgery, cardiogenic shock, traumatic injury, ARDS/respiratory failure, and/or other critical acute illness-related need requiring ECMO support. Special procedures: Manage ECMO device during bedside ECMO cannulation and/or cannula repositioning procedure.Special Equipment: Cardiohelp ECMO consoleCentrimag ECMO consoleCardio Quip heater-cooler unitGlucometer (point of care testing) Must have at least one year of EPIC experience Required certificates: ACLS, BLS, PALS, SC RRT licenseExperience - ECMO specialty device course and required CMEs to maintain proficiencyTravelers will work alongside the ICU RN and RT, specifically responsible for device management in the ICU, following the ECMO order set and provider team direction. Travelers will work both in PICU with peds patients and in CVICU with adults who require critical extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (heart/lung) support post cardiac/respiratory/sepsis/shock/trauma-related injury/illness.
