JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.Job Summary - Essential FunctionsUnder general supervision, the Full Stack Web Application Developer provides software and systems engineering services, generally as a member of a work unit or group.The Full Stack Web Application Developer will be required to perform the following functions/duties:Advise team and project managers on technical problemsInteract with customers, colleagues, and project managers on a regular basisUse judgment and initiative in developing analytical methodologies for problem solving Interpret customer requirements and develop and analyze the most appropriate approach to solve technical problemsImplement design through software coding and appropriately document the design implementation Plan and execute unit and integration testing, and coordinate user acceptance testingAssist in maintenance and sustainment activities of cloud-based virtual system/softwarePerform other job-related duties, as requiredMaintain baseline configurations for two on-premises web applicationsAssist with migration of one on-premises application to an existing private cloudAdditional Valuable SkillsWaterfall development methodology Microsoft Server management, particularly Microsoft IISExperience using AWS technologies (EC2, S3)Web Application Programming Interfaces, (RESTful)Backend programming in PythonDevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies Frontend programming using JavaScript frameworks DoD Developmental Test & Evaluation Community ExperienceContainerization, (Docker, Podman)NoSQL databases, (PostGRES, MongoDB)Desired Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesMicrosoft coding frameworks, (C#, .NET CORE, ASP.net)Version control and documentation using common industry collaboration tools, (Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jira, Confluence)Agile development methodologyEssential knowledge of SQL Database tools (Oracle SQL Developer)Effective oral and written communication and organization/planning and time managementRequirements - Education, Technical, And Work ExperienceA bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline and either two years of related experience or a master’s degree in an associated discipline are required for this position.In addition, a Computer Scientist II must possess the following qualifications:Experience with computer-based systems and applicationsProgramming skills in languages used for job-specific programming tasksFamiliarity with the application of industry standard hardware and software design and documentation techniquesFamiliarity with systems engineering and software development lifecyclesEffective verbal and written communication skillsGood planning /organizational skillsAbility to work under deadlinesMust possess a valid, state issued driver’s license. Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
