Appraisal Coordinator
Position SummaryThe AppraisalCoordinator will be responsible for ordering and reviewing valuations forconsumer and commercial real estate loans and renewals. This may includeappraisals ordered and completed by our appraisal management company ordirectly from an independent appraiser. TheAppraisal Coordinator is also responsible for completing the appraisal reviewchecklist(s) and communicating with all internal stakeholders.Essential Duties andResponsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)Knowledge of relevant regulatory considerations andadhering to requirements set by applicable and relevant agencies for acomplete appraisalOrdering and monitoring valuations in accordancewith bank policy and relevant regulatory obligationsInquiring and monitoring quotes on appraisalorders, compliance fulfillment and delivery of appraisals withinestablished timeframesMonitoring appraisals for utilization ofreasonable and best use analysis, comparable sales and adjustments, asapplicable or relevantMonitoring appraisals for any potential issueswith the model valuation and assumptions of the appraisalResponsible for providingborrower(s) a copy of the appraisal in accordance with regulatoryobligationsResponsible for the process of appraisal receipts,invoice payments and reconciling related general ledger accountsMaintaining and updating the internal approvedappraiser listMaintaining files for approved appraisers toinclude obtaining updated license and insurance informationMay be requested to assist inthe support of other bank activitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree, or at least 3 years of related experience, oran equivalent combination of education and experience.3-5 Years' Experience with appraisals, preferredProven problem-solving, critical thinking, and analyticalskills. Ability to interpret avariety of information furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduleform.Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize.Ability to analyzeprocesses for efficiency and/or improvements.Ability to compute basic to moderately complex math calculations.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skillsProficiency in using personal computers and office products (e.g.,Word, Excel, Powerpoint); Experience with Excel is a must.FIRST COMMUNITY BANK (SC) is an EEO Employer - M/F/Disability/Protected Veteran Status
