Setup CNC Machine Operator Taylor, MI Co. is a full-service metal fabrication and manufacturing companyShift and Pay:1st Shift: Up to $23/hr (based on experience) | 7am to 3pm2nd Shift: Up to $25/hr (based on experience) | 3pm to 11pm3rd Shift: Up to $25/hr (based on experience) | 11pm to 7am All shifts require some OT during the week and Saturday when required Overview: We are seeking an experienced CNC Setup Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves skilled work in the fabrication, assembly, of a variety of metal parts and tools. The ideal candidate will have strong technical ability, precision, and a commitment to producing high?quality work in a fast?paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities: CNC Mill OR CNC Lathe experience will be consideredFabricate metal parts and toolsMilling, lathe, and CNC machining workSet up, operate, adjust, clean, and store machinist tools and equipmentRead gauges, calipers and micrometersVerify work pieces meet specifications and quality standards using precision measuring toolsPerform tool changeovers and small adjustmentsApply knowledge of mechanics, shop math, metal properties, and machining proceduresMaintain shop organization and cleanlinessCollaborate effectively with team members and supervisorsRequirements: Minimum 3 years of cnc machining experienceAbility to interpret blueprints and technical drawingsFamiliarity with typical machine shop equipment (lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, etc.)Basic computer skills and general inspection knowledgeStrong understanding of shop mathAbility to produce parts that consistently meet quality and quantity expectationsPhysical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and perform manual dexterity tasksMust be able to work efficiently in a fast?paced environment and multitaskPreferred Qualifications: Experience with CNC setup, and operationStrong communication skills (written and oral)Commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork
