Position Summary: BGA seeks dependable drivers with both P and S endorsements to transport students for sports games, events, and local routes to school in the morning and afternoon. Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Skills: Drive safely along designated routes. Obey traffic laws, safety procedures, and transit regulations. Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations. Communicate with passengers and employers regarding delays or any issues along a route. Be familiar with bus routes, schedules, and general areas, keeping routes on time. Promote safety at all times by keeping the first aid kit and emergency road kits fully stocked. Ensure proper loading, unloading, and tracking of children. Ensure the use of child safety restraints required by state law. Ensure proper verification procedures for evacuation of the vehicle based on the type of vehicle and the ages of the children served. Requirements: CDL with P and S endorsement is required. Experience and knowledge of driving a bus. Clean driving and ability to pass background checks.
