Tugger Operator

Tugger Operator Peoplelink Staffing is seeking dependable Tugger Operators to support recycling and material handling operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for collecting, transporting, and processing recyclable materials while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace. Tugger Operator Job Summary:Collect, transport, and organize recyclable materials such as cardboard, plastic, scrap, and palletsSafely load and unload materials for processing and disposalAssist with cardboard breakdown and baling operationsOperate in various assigned work areas based on daily operational needsMaintain a clean and safe work environment Tugger Operator Responsibilities:Operate tugger equipment and assist with material movement throughout the facilityTransport recyclables to designated processing or disposal areasSort and remove recyclable materials from waste streamsProcess cardboard by cutting, breaking down, and loading into balers or containersOrganize wood pallets manually or with pallet jacks and assess condition for reuseMaintain and sanitize tools and equipment before, during, and after shiftsPerform general housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning work areasFollow all safety, security, and compliance proceduresCommunicate effectively with supervisors, teammates, and site personnelAssist in different areas and perform additional duties as assigned Work Expectations:Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and kneel throughout the shiftLift, carry, push, and pull 10+ lbs. for extended periodsWork in changing environments and adapt to daily operational needsWear required PPE and appropriate attire for working conditionsMaintain productivity, safety, and attendance standards Tugger Operator Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderMust be able to pass a background check for site accessAbility to work in a physically demanding environmentStrong teamwork and communication skillsPrevious experience in recycling, material handling, or warehouse environments is a plus Why Peoplelink Staffing?Medical, Dental, Vision & Life insurance available401(k) available after meeting eligibility requirementsDirect Deposit programs Peoplelink Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
