Family & Child Respite Care Provider

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate in-home autism aide. The Ideal candidate will have a strong background in caring for individuals in the clients home and provide quality care. This role requires a nurturing approach and the ability to engage effectively, fostering a positive environment. Duties Provide one-on-one in home care assisting with daily routines. Behavior management techniques Support clients and engage in age appropriate activities. Transportation as needed Communicate regularly with parents or guardians and management Create a safe and supportive atmosphere Ensure privacy and maintain HIPAA guidelines. Skills Experience with behavior management Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to caregiving Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for the individual's privacy Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience Previous experience working with developmental disabilities, special needs, childcare, or in caregiving. Strong background in behavior management and de-escalation techniques Familiarity with early childhood education principles is preferred. Experience in educating students with diverse learning needs is a plus. Skills in babysitting or other forms of child supervision will be advantageous.
