Oncology Data Specialist Certification Required

A company is looking for an Oncology Data Specialist I to maintain an efficient cancer database for patients diagnosed and/or treated with cancer. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update the cancer database in compliance with American College of Surgeons requirements Meet productivity goals related to abstracting patient data Assist with annual follow-up of patients and case finding for the database Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Certification as an Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) within 3 years of hire 2 years of experience in Medical Records Data Knowledge of cancer registry practices and data entry
