Job Description Job Title: Parts Specialist Department: ServiceReports to: Parts Manager Effective Date: 10/2024Classification: Full time, non-exemptJob Summary:The Parts Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the parts department in areas such as inventory control, deliveries, warehouse, and the front and back counter.Duties/Responsibilities:Fill work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute to techniciansBuilds part numbers and issues purchase orders for special orders for our shop and customers.Answers phones when necessaryAssists customers and technicians at the Parts counterOther duties and tasks as required by supervisorRequired Skills/Abilities:Ability to work in a positive, fast paced environmentPositive attitude and team playerCustomer Service drivenAbility to maintain strong organizational skillsProficient with computers including Excel, OfficeRegular attendance & ability to be ready at the start of shift necessaryValid Driver's License & a satisfactory MVRAbility to pass post-offer physical & drug screenEducation and Experience:1 years' experience Parts Specialist or equivalent experience preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift, push or carry up to 100-pound objects with assistanceFrequently required to sit / stand / kneel / stoop / bend / use hands to handle materials / reach with arms and hands / operate motor-vehicle or job-related equipmentThis job description does not list all duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this position.
