As General Labor, you will work in a variety of roles assisting in processing and packaging within the plant. Laborers are responsible for maintaining our highest quality of food safety standards, sanitation standards, and production and packaging requirements.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPacking and constructing boxes as assignedResponsible for moving materials, supplies, and finished goods through the facility with a manual or electric pallet jackInspect and examine materials and finished goods for quality concernsHand palletizing of productFollow proper lot tracking proceduresStack skids or pallets in designated areaClean up and dispose of scrap, cardboard, and strapping to place in proper containers or designated areaComplete rework processPerforms cleaning dutiesMeet daily production goalsPerform other duties as assigned and requiredMinimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageMust posses a High School Diploma/GEDMust be able to lift up to 35-50 lbs.Must be authorized to work in the United StatesProficiency of the English language (read, write, and speak English)Preferred QualificationsExperience in production, packing or manufacturing settingExperience operating an electric pallet jackThe Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
