Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.This role will offer $15.00- $15.50 hourly, depending on experience, skills, and location.Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM 4:30 PMPosition Summary The Payment Desk role is responsible for receiving, processing, and reconciling in-person customer payments, ensuring accuracy, security, and professional customer service. This position requires handling large volumes of cash, checks, or credit card payments, managing deposits, and maintaining composure in high-stress or escalated customer situations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Record court decisions and update case records accurately in the system.Respond to citizen inquiries in person, by phone, or through written communication.Answer telephone inquiries and provide general information related to court records or case status.File and maintain court dockets and related documentation.Ensure records are complete, organized, and maintained in accordance with established procedures.Communicate with internal teams to resolve record discrepancies or documentation issues.Work in a productive, safe, and cooperative manner in accordance with all company policies.Perform other administrative or operational duties as assigned.What You'll Need to Succeed Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to remain professional and composed when interacting with frustrated or hostile individuals.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Ability to communicate clearly with citizens and coworkers.Basic computer and data entry skills.Education / Experience / Skills High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution required.Some customer service experience preferred.Physical Demands and Working Conditions Primarily a sedentary position requiring prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a workstation.
